Myriad Group Acquires Scottish Care Provider Parklands Care Homes

Myriad Group, which owns Caring Homes has acquired Parklands Care Homes, one of the largest independent care providers in the north of Scotland with 13 care homes across the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire.

Newmark and DC Advisory acted as advisors to Parklands on its sale to Myriad Group.

Alongside the change of ownership, Parklands has completed a planned leadership transition with founder and Managing Director, Ron Taylor, and Operations Director, Elaine Taylor, both stepping down. Susie Mackenzie, who joined Parklands in 2023 as Finance Director, has been appointed Managing Director and will take on responsibility for day to day operations. Ron will continue to support the business in an advisory capacity.

Parklands will continue to operate as a standalone business, led by its current management team and supported by the wider Myriad Group.
