Mayor Of Wisbech Visits Rose Lodge For Birthday Suprise

Councillor Sidney Imafidon the Mayor of Wisbech visited the Rose Lodge Care Home in Wisbech to surprise one of the homes residents during their birthday celebrations.

Sidney joined Barbara and her fellow residents during her birthday tea party.

Barbara was absolutely thrilled and delighted to meet the mayor, making her birthday even more special.

Councillor Sidney Imafidon told the home he takes great delight in meeting with and speaking to our seniors in and around the town and is a supporter of the care home community.

Following the Mayors visit, Barbara said:
“it’s been such a wonderful surprise seeing the Mayor, he is such a lovely man and it was an honour to wear the mayoral chains. I felt very special. It has been a wonderful birthday.”

General Manager at Rose Lodge, Megan Jones said:
“It was lovely to have Mayor Sidney Imafidon here for the day. The residents were delighted that he was able to visit us and join in on the High Tea fun. We all had a wonderful day and we hope that Sidney will come to see us again soon!”
