Longest Serving Care Assistant at Bluebird Care Hounslow and Chiswick is Surprised on 5th Work Anniversary by Team
Sylvia Crocker, who celebrates her 71st birthday this year is the longest serving Care Assistant at Bluebird Care Hounslow and Chiswick.
Sylvia has been a Care Assistant for five years after changing her lifelong career – this was her first job in the care sector.
Bluebird Care Care Manager, Halina Caswell and Care Supervisor Marina Sharma, arranged for a surprise visit to Sylvia. On 5th March, her fifth work anniversary, she was surprised by her team during a visit to some of her regular customers.
Peter Wilkin, one of Sylvia’s customers, said:
“Sylvia is an incredible Care Assistant. The care she provides is outstanding and we even speak Welsh together.”
Sylvia was presented with a lovely bunch of flowers and a trophy to show Bluebird Care Hounslow and Chiswick’s thanks for everything she does.

Sylvia added:
“I was so surprised when Marina and Halina came to visit me, the flowers and trophy were so kind. I started at Bluebird Care Hounslow and Chiswick after 40 years in another role and I haven’t looked back since!”
