Local Schoolchildren Help Name Care Home Care Communities

With the help of local schoolchildren, Magnolia Court, Barchester Healthcare’s care home in Hampstead, has named its recently refurbished suite’s Lavender and Daisy keeping the names floral inspired.

To celebrate the redecoration, the team at Magnolia Court asked local schoolchildren to suggest floral themed names. Staff at the care home were amazed at the response from the local community, so many wonderful names to choose from. The decision was made by a panel of residents led by Residents Ambassador Bill Crowhurst. The winning names were suggested by Hampstead School and were announced via Magnolia Court’s Facebook page.

General Manager, Octavian Stanciu comments: “We have had such a brilliant response from the children who have blown us away with their creativity.  The names Lavender and Daisy are lovely names and are a wonderful link back to the local community who have given us such a great support especially over the past 18 months.”

Magnolia Court looks forward to hosting a presentation for the school to congratulate them and say a big thank you.
