Local “Much-Loved” Carer Celebrates 25 Years Of Service With The Cedars Care Home Bourne

One member of the amazing care team at The Cedars in Bourne has received a prestigious Long Service Award in celebration of working at Barchester Healthcare for 25 years.

Sharon Knibbs, a dedicated member of the night care team, started at Barchester in 1991 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years. A fellow colleague said, “Sharon gives a true sense of person-centred care that comes from the heart.”

Adele Keenan, Employee Services Director at Barchester said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Sharon has achieved this milestone. It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”
