Lancashire Care Home Supports BBC Children In Need
Staff from a Residential Care Home in Ormskirk, Lancashire have supported the annual fundraising extravaganza by ‘dressing up’ for the day and getting in the Children in Need spirit.
Fancy dress outfits included traditional Pudsey attire, colourful spotted outfits and winners of ‘Best Outfit of the Day’ the Housekeeping Team who commenced their duties this morning dressed as convicts.
Home Manager, Geraldine Ball said “Every year a phenomenal amount of money is raised and given to such inspiring charities, so we want to make sure we raise awareness and do our bit to help support this fantastic charity. It has certainly brought many smiles to the ladies and gentlemen living at the Home.”
The Home hosted a ‘coffee and cake’ afternoon selling delicious sweet treats to raise money for the charity campaign.
Geraldine continues “The staff at Stocks Hall Ormskirk Home always make such a special team effort – I would like to thank everyone who showed their support and donated.
