Hallmark Care Home Awarded ‘Outstanding’ CQC Rating

Team members and residents at a Hallmark care home are celebrating after receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.

The health watchdog gave Bucklesham Grange Care Home in Ipswich, Suffolk the maximum overall rating putting it in a small percentage of care homes across the country to achieve this high standard.

The report praised the residential, nursing and dementia home’s team for their ‘exceptional performance’ and out of five key areas reviewed, two of the five were rated ‘Outstanding’ whilst the other three were rated as ‘Good.’

The home was rated as ‘Outstanding’ in the areas of ‘caring’ and ‘well led’ with ‘visible and effective leadership within the service’ and ‘Good’ for its service being safe, effective and responsive.

General Manager at Bucklesham Grange, Daniel Rowark said: “It is an absolute privilege to receive an ‘Outstanding’ rating from The Care Quality Commission, it is a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of the team to deliver high-quality relationship-centred care to our residents.
