Farnham Common Care Home Celebrates Resident’s 100th Birthday

Signature at Farnham Common marked a remarkable milestone celebrating the 100th birthday of beloved resident and community icon, Margaret Moore.

Known for her warm heart, boundless kindness, and devotion to her family and village life, Margaret is a deeply cherished figure at Signature at Farnham Common and in her community, with her legacy spanning generations.

Family, friends, neighbours, and the Signature at Farnham Common community gathered to honour Margaret’s century, paying tribute to a life defined by love, laughter, and dedication to others.

For the celebrations, the team at Signature at Farnham Common arranged a special surprise with a performance by jazz singer Andrew Bourn, who was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent.

Margaret’s delight continued with a family celebration at the village hall, where loved ones shared fond memories and enjoyed refreshments.

Entertainment was provided by James Gibbons, a local teacher and choir leader at Signature Farnham Common, who has been a favourite of Margaret’s since his first visit.

Alex Alexandru, General Manager of Signature at Farnham Common, shared:
“Celebrating Margaret’s 100th birthday with her family and friends was an absolute joy. She is a treasured member of our community here at the home, and seeing her surrounded by so many people who love her was lovely. Margaret is an inspiration, and we are honoured to be a part of her life.”
