East Sussex Chef Wins Great British Care Award

Head-Chef-Paul-WydraHead Chef Paul Wydra’s passion and flair for serving tasty and nutritious dishes to residents at Four Seasons Health Care’s Bon Accord care home in East Sussex has won him the Nutrition and Hydration Award at this year’s prestigious Great British Care Awards.

Paul was nominated by Christine Hamilton, Four Seasons Health Care’s Executive Chef, for his ability to incorporate the nutritional and dietary requirements of the elderly residents into imaginative and delicious dishes.

Nikki Stevenson, Home Manager for Bon Accord, said: “We are committed here at Bon Accord to providing our residents with healthy and delicious food to enhance their wellbeing, and we are delighted that Paul has been recognised for his hard work.”

The winners were announced at an awards ceremony on Saturday 26th April 2014 held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout England and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
