DC Care Are 2Walking The Walk” For Alzheimer’s Society

DC Care are taking part in the Memory Walk 2019 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia.

DC Care staff Alison, Andy, Lisa, Michelle and their families will tackle the Leeds Memory Walk on Sunday 1st September 2019, with a choice of either a 2km walk within the grounds of the grand Temple Newsham estate or a more challenging 6km walk through the estate and the surrounding scenic countryside
