Dance for Dementia

Dance-for-DementiaSociety ambassador Arlene Phillips CBE wants to get the world dancing on behalf of Alzheimer’s Society.

The Dance My Street initiative asks people to dress up and and take videos of themselves dancing past their house, office or school – and raise money for the Society while they’re at it.

As Arlene says:

‘All it takes is a moment of your time to experience the joy of dancing down your street to raise money for those experiencing dementia. It’s so easy – just text in to make your donation your money will help so much! I’m dancing down my street, please dance down yours!’

Jenny-Louise Dale, Alzheimer’s Society Community Fundraiser, says:

‘By joining #dancemystreet people will be playing an important part in raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s Society so that we can continue the fight against dementia. Arlene’s enthusiasm for this project is limitless and like her I can’t wait to see how far we can reach – so come on get out your dancing shoes and join in!
