Court House Begins new Chapter with Two Key Milestones

Court House Care Home in Malvern is entering a significant new chapter as Jane Brown secures formal Registered Manager status, coinciding with the start of a multi-million-pound transformation that will shape the future of the service.

Jane has been leading Court House since her appointment and has now completed the regulatory process required to become its officially registered manager, marking an important professional milestone at a pivotal point in the home’s evolution.

Her registration comes as work begins on a major programme of improvements designed to enhance the environment for residents, families and staff, while supporting Superior Care (Midlands) Ltd’s wider ambition to create high-quality care settings that respond to changing needs without losing the warmth, familiarity and sense of community that matter so much to the people who live there.

Jane said: “Achieving Registered Manager status is an important milestone for me personally, but it feels particularly meaningful because it comes at such an exciting time for Court House, with a strong team already in place and a clear vision for where we want to take the service next.

“The transformation now underway gives us the opportunity to build on everything that already works well here, while creating an even better environment for residents and staff, and throughout that process my focus will remain on making sure people feel at home, listened to and genuinely at the centre of every decision we make.”

Becoming a registered manager is a key regulatory milestone within the care sector, formally recognising responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, quality and compliance of a registered service.

For Court House, Jane’s registration provides continuity at a time of considerable change, giving the team a clear and established figure to lead the service through one of the most ambitious periods in its recent history.

The multi-million-pound transformation will build on previous improvements at Court House, creating modern, welcoming spaces while preserving the character and close-knit atmosphere that residents and families value.

Amrit Sumal, Managing Director of Superior Care (Midlands) Ltd, said: “Jane has already made a very positive impact at Court House, so securing her Registered Manager status is a natural and important next step in her leadership of the service, particularly as we move into such a significant period of change.

“Our plans for Court House are ambitious, but this is about far more than buildings alone, it is about creating the right surroundings for residents to live well, giving colleagues the support and facilities they need to provide excellent care, and ensuring the home is equipped for the future while retaining the personal approach that sits at the heart of everything we do.

“Having Jane in place to lead that journey gives us real confidence as the next phase begins.”

Jane added: “There is a real sense of momentum at Court House, and to be leading the service through such an important period while also reaching this point in my own career makes it an incredibly rewarding time.”
