Celebrity Chef Lesley Waters Inspires Community at Special Culinary Evening Hosted by Barchester Healthcare

Local businesses and community organisations came together for an unforgettable evening of food, friendship and inspiration as Parley Place Care Home, in partnership with its sister home Kings Park Care Home, welcomed renowned celebrity chef Lesley Waters for a special live cooking demonstration.

The event brought together members of the local community for an interactive culinary experience, where Lesley prepared eight delicious dishes, sharing expert cooking tips, ingredient advise and telling stories along the way. She was joined by her sous chef Steve who helped, assisted and gave his own hints and tips. After the demonstration everyone was able to taste everything that had been made which was all totally delicious.

The evening was filled with laughter, conversation and the opportunity to connect with neighbours, local organisations and businesses in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Representatives from community groups including BCP Business Network, Ferndown & Parley Rotary, West Parley Parish Council, University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity, Cherry Tree Nursery, Coastal Event Styling, Douch Family Funeral Directors, West Parley Memorial Hall and Tesco’s Ferndown in the Community were among those who attended.
