Celebrations For 10 Years Of Clarity Care
Over 160 members of Hampshire’s care community came together to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of one of the south’s most highly regarded advisory services, Clarity Care Consulting, and raise over £2,600 for Dementia UK.
Representatives from residential, medical and legal services, all working in the provision of personal care across Hampshire, gathered at the Solent Hotel in Whiteley to mark the 10th Anniversary of Clarity Care Consulting, an advisory service founded by Lynn Osborne to help people find the best support for their loved ones.
‘A lot of our work over the last ten years has been helping people find the best situation for elderly relatives,’ explains Lynn. ‘We are involved in finding rehabilitation solutions after an accident, arranging regular home visits, researching suitable residential homes, or representing families who live far away.’
Whilst being treated to a delicious three course meal, a surprise appearance from singing waiters and dancing until the early hours, guests were also asked to dig deep for fundraising activities, including a prize draw, in aid of Dementia UK and raised over £2,600.
‘It was exactly what I had hoped for – an evening of generosity, kindness and appreciation for everyone involved in providing care,’ reflects Lynn. ‘During all the laughs there were moments when we were able to thank the nurses and care assistants we brought to enjoy the event and think about the real difference our work makes to people’s lives.’
‘I never forget what a position of trust I am in, for an individual, their family and all the professional people I work with to secure the best possible care solutions. I cannot express what the evening meant to me. To have earned the support of so many people from all aspects of the care community is indescribably satisfying and moving.’
