Celebrations At Croydon Home As Care Assistant Marks 20-Year Service

A care assistant working at a Croydon home has been recognised for her 20 years’ service by the home.

Pennina Jessica Assime started working at MHA Hall Grange in 2005 after a friend had recommended the home to her.

Fast forward to 2025, and she was presented with her long service certificate showcasing 20 years as well as some gifts from home manager Abi Williams.

MHA Hall Grange offers residential and dementia care for up to 86 older people.

Speaking after the presentation Pennina said:
“I really enjoy working at MHA Hall Grange, it’s been the same since I started which is why I am still here.

“I found out about the home through a friend, and I am so glad I listened to her.

“I love coming into work every day and know I am making a difference to the lives of our residents.

“The long service celebrations were a nice surprise, and I am very thankful for the love shown to me.

“I am so happy I work for an organisation like MHA, it’s a great organisation to work for.

“The residents are at the forefront of everything they do, and the staff not only at MHA Hall Grange, but across all our services put their heart into the service they provide.

“For me, I would recommend MHA to everyone, and if there is anyone out there thinking of working in care, MHA should be their first choice.”
