Careers In Social Care: Find Out More At Regional Skills Shows
Skills for Care supporting regional Skills shows: Promoting careers in adult social care
If you are interested in finding out more about a career in social care, or are a teacher or careers advisor wanting to expand your knowledge, come and visit our stand at your local Skills show!
We will have I Care Ambassadors, who currently work in the sector, on the stands to help you get a real feel for working in adult social care. We can also help you explore the different roles available in the sector, how you get into the sector and the skills, experience and qualifications you may need to find that ideal job in social care!
Our interactive quiz will see you imagine real life scenarios from a variety of roles in the sector, and see how you would take on the challenge. Upon completing the quiz you will have the chance to proclaim to the world ‘I have what it takes to work in social care’ with a snap in our selfie frame!
Careers advisors and teachers- come along and see how Skills for Care can support you. We have put together a pack of handy resources available for request. You can also see our I Care Ambassadors in action and find out how to can request an ambassador to facilitate interactive careers events in your organisation.
We hope to see you there!
