Care Village Nurse Wins Prestigious Care Award

Karan Shingler of Hyde, Greater Manchester, has been crowned winner of the ‘Palliative Care/End of Life’ Great North West Care Award, earning a place in the national final.

Karan works as a nurse at Didsbury care village, Belong Morris Feinmann, and stood out among the competition for her overall passion and dedication to her job, particularly for work she has undertaken to lead a team towards the national end of life care strategy, Six Steps. Attention was also given to her motivating and inspiring leadership, encouraging her team to deliver the highest possible standard of care to those on an end-of-life pathway.
