Improving the image of social care
Professor Martin Green OBE, Care England Chief Executive, says:
“Many people, including other professionals, fail to appreciate the value of the social care workforce, so we need to make them aware and adopt a more focused approach to recruitment, retention and training. We’re also interested in demonstrating the role of new technologies in developing new care services that are fit for the 21st century. This conference will further underline how a skilled and dedicated workforce sits at the centre of exemplary care”.

The day’s programme will also feature an exhibition of products and services from leading organisations, plus a selection of informed seminars. All parts of the sector are welcome, not just Care England members, and for more information please visit

Martin Green continues:
“Workforce Matters will give providers pragmatic, tried and tested ideas to nurture their most precious resource; the workforce.  It is extremely good value and I look forward to seeing providers at Church House on 13 November for what promises to be another extremely useful day where we will get to the bottom of workforce matters”.
