Bristol Care Home Celebrates 25 Years of Service

A care home in Bristol, which supports individuals aged 40 and above with learning disabilities, has celebrated 25 years of dedicated service with a special event attended by staff, residents, and guests.

Springbank Care Home in Brentry marked this significant milestone with a party, where long-serving staff members were honoured for their commitment. Among those recognised were Service Manager, Kay Williams, and Deputy Manager, Andrea Butler, both of whom celebrated 25 years with the home, having been there since it first opened its doors in 2000.

Kay Williams said:
“This milestone is a wonderful moment to reflect on the journey we’ve had. Springbank is like one big family, and our team works tirelessly to provide the specialist care our residents deserve. I’m so proud of the team and grateful to the community around us, who continue to trust and support our service.”

In addition to long service gifts for the employees, residents were also presented with certificates of recognition.

Commercial and Operations Director, Geraint Evans, commented:
“Celebrating 25 years of exceptional service at Springbank is a true testament to the dedication, care, and passion shown by everyone involved. I am incredibly proud of the team here, whose commitment to providing the highest standard of care makes a real difference in the lives of our residents. This milestone reflects the strong foundation of support, respect, and community that has been built over the years, and I’m honoured to be part of it.”
