Beauleigh Court Hosts Blue Light Afternoon Tea to Celebrate Community Heroes

Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group hosted a special Blue Light Afternoon Tea on 13 November, bringing together residents, staff, and local professionals to recognise and celebrate the vital support provided by emergency and community services.

The event welcomed district nurses, police officers, dentists, and other community partners for an afternoon of sweet treats, conversation, and connection. Designed to strengthen relationships and express gratitude, the gathering created an opportunity for residents and professionals to come together in a warm, relaxed setting.

The deputy manager at Beauleigh Court shared her appreciation for the event, stating:
“It was lovely to meet everyone and spend time talking and getting to know the people that visit professionally so often. It felt like we were strengthening the roots of the relationships that have been developing over the last six months.”

District Nurse, JM, described the afternoon as: “A wonderful event and it was so lovely to take some time to socially interact with staff and residents and get to know them better.”

She also expressed her thanks for the delicious food and beautiful surroundings.

Concierge, AL, added: “It was heart-warming seeing residents who depend on these health professionals sharing stories with them and seeing the people they are behind the uniforms.”

The Blue Light Afternoon Tea was organised as part of Beauleigh Court’s commitment to fostering strong community partnerships.
