Ashcombe House Celebrates International Nurses Week

International Nurses Week, May 6-12 is a week to celebrate nurses around the world, and residents and staff at Ashcombe House care home in Basingstoke got together to celebrate the hard work and dedication of their nurses.

In 2023, the International Council of Nurses is seeking to focus on the need to protect, support and invest in the nursing profession to strengthen health systems around the world. International Nurses’ Day is a day to give thanks for the dedication of care givers everywhere, who go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver extraordinary care and support.

Louise Lambert, General Manager at the home, said: at Ashcombe our nurses and staff are hard-working and passionate about caring for others, all their efforts are focused on delivering the best possible care for our residents, so it’s nice to take this time to show our appreciation in return.
