Alton Place Care Home Completes Mountbatten End of Life Programme

Hartford Care’s Alton Place care home on Winchester Road, Alton, has completed The Mountbatten End of Life Programme, an accredited education and training initiative designed to improve staff confidence, skills and organisational approaches to palliative care.

Alongside this, Laura Nash, Head Housekeeper, and Megan Wade, Activities Co-ordinator, have achieved the status of Mountbatten End of Life Care Champions, following participation in specialist workshops and training to further enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of best practices in end of life care.
