A Choir In Every Care Home – Invitation To Tender
The Baring Foundation is making available up to £60,000 for a project to increase the participation of choirs in care homes for older people. Ideally this would be UK-wide.

The Baring Foundation is an independent funder. Since 2010 we have focused our arts programme on older people. Much of this work has taken place in care homes. We are interested in connecting care homes with the wider community through the arts, including voluntary arts.
Community choirs of all natures (including schools, faith groups and workplace choirs) are a very important opportunity to increase this. We explored this issue through a roundtable discussion held in October 2014 and have concluded that a first stage in this process might be achieved by a short term project.
