naccThe National Association of Care Catering (NACC) has announced that David Brindle, public services editor for The Guardian is to speak at the NACC Training & Development Forum 2016, which takes place on 5-7 October at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham.

The award-winning journalist, who specialises in social policy issues, will draw on his vast experience of reporting on the public sector to consider and explain why it remains so marginalised.

His experience and knowledge of public services is wide reaching and he genuinely cares about making a positive difference within the sector. His insight and observations will be fascinating and will definitely give us all something to think about.”

He is also chair of the National Development Team for Inclusion, vice chair of the Recovery Focus group of mental health and addiction charities, founded by Richmond Fellowship, and a member of various advisory committees, including those of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and the School for Social Care Research.
