The Fremantle Trust to Host World’s Biggest Virtual Coffee Morning
The Fremantle Trust is hosting the World’s Biggest Virtual Coffee Morning on Friday, 27th September at 11:30 am at our care home in Holmer Green, raising vital funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.
This event goes beyond fundraising; it is a celebration of community, offering a glimpse into the vibrant and engaging life within our care homes.
At the heart of this event is a special Singing for the Brain session, hosted both in person at Cherry Garth Care Home, Holmer Green and online via Facebook Live. Our staff, trained by the Alzheimer’s Society, will lead this therapeutic session, designed to provide emotional and cognitive benefits to those living with dementia.
The Singing for the Brain session is not just about music—it’s about building meaningful relationships, stimulating memory, and providing joy and comfort to our residents, their families, and carers across the UK.
Sue Faulkner, Community and Lifestyle Manager at The Fremantle Trust, commented:
“We’re hosting this event to support MacMillan’s incredible work while also offering families a chance to connect and share a special moment. Our Singing for the Brain session, which can be enjoyed both online and in person, brings the joy of music to those who need it most, providing a therapeutic and fun-filled experience.” Sue Faulkner, Community and Lifestyle Manager.
Funds raised during the coffee morning will go directly to MacMillan Cancer Support, helping them continue their vital work in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.
We invite everyone to join us for a morning of coffee, music, and connection.
