Taylor Wimpey Support Builds For Highcliffe Care Home

Highcliffe Care Home in Sunderland has been overwhelmed with messages of support and thanks for their critical frontline care staff in recent weeks.

Last week, they received supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE), games and stationery to add to their stocks from Taylor Wimpey by way of support and appreciation for the amazing work being carried out by staff during the current coronavirus pandemic.

The residential building developer has been using their logistical contacts to access and distribute face masks, aprons, and gloves, as well as their own manufactured face visors via local teams of volunteers from the group.

“We’re very proud of all those that have volunteered their time to help and assist with this initiative and to be playing our part in supporting the vital role of care workers who do an amazing job every single day. We also appealed to our staff to make donations of suitable books, jigsaws, and quizzes to support residents unable to see friends and family at the current time,” said James Arnison of Taylor Wimpey.

Home Manager, Adam Kane commented, “I would like to take the opportunity to express my thanks to Taylor Wimpey for their kind donation to our home and residents here at Highcliffe, their valued support is very much appreciated.”
