Summer Fair at Lytham St Annes Home Raises Over £750

A Lytham St Annes home managed to raise over £750 as more than 80 people attended their summer fair.

MHA Starr Hills held their summer fair and managed to raise £777.40.

The fair was really well attended, with a mixture of staff, residents, loved ones and members of the community.

There was something for everyone with a range of stalls, games, refreshments and live entertainment.

The funds raised will go towards the homes amenities fund, from which trips and activities will be arranged for residents.

MHA Starr Hills offers residential care and support for up to 36 people.

Emma Falkingham, activity coordinator said: “Our summer fair was a great event and one that was very successful.

“Like always we had plenty of support from the community and managed to raise a good amount of money.

“It was a lovely day, everyone had a great time, and it was nice to see so many people.

“The funds raised will go a long way in supporting us with activities, trips and events for our residents.

“We received some lovely feedback from visitors, and when I put a post up on our Facebook page, the comments were very positive.

“The stall holders were really pleased with the atmosphere of the home, which was really nice to hear, and we hope to see them again next year.

“On behalf of the home, I want to thank everyone for their support and generosity, your kindness and support means the world to us.”
