Southgate Beaumont Care Home Hosts Community Breakfast Event

Staff and residents at Southgate Beaumont care home, in Enfield, invited members of the local community to join them for a garden breakfast event last Friday.

The home came up with the idea to invite members of the local community to come and have a relaxed breakfast before work in order to network with each other and get some much-needed sustenance.  The event was a big success with lots of local people stopping by to have some breakfast before heading to work.

General Manager Beatrice Godfrey said: “The breakfast went so well. It is very important for us to have close connections with our local community and we have such a lovely garden here, it was so nice to be able to invite visitors to come and join us again. Everyone enjoyed meeting up and our head chef Daniel did us proud with some delicious home-made pastries, a delicious fresh fruit platter and bacon sandwiches.”

Rabeya Islam, local Financial Advisor said: “It was so thoughtful of the Team and residents at Southgate Beaumont to invite us along, such a lovely way to start the day.  I will definitely be back for the next breakfast event, it was great to make some new contacts and the food was really yummy!”
