Singing Toddlers Delight Winchester Care Home
Festive singers aged just three and four years old have brought Christmas cheer to delighted residents at a Winchester dementia care home.
Sixteen toddlers from Tops Winchester day nursery were in fine voice as they entertained an audience at Colten Care’s St Catherines View home in Stanmore Lane.
Residents and team members joined in as the young visitors ran through favourites including Jingle Bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney.
St Catherines View Activity Organiser Chloe Hickman said: “We love having children over to visit and their singing went down really well with the residents. Everyone got in the festive mood very quickly.”
Kayleigh Moss from Tops Winchester said: “The children enjoyed being the centre of attention and sharing our Christmas wishes and songs. They also lapped up the juice and biscuits afterwards!”
