Signature at Sonning Care Home Officially Opens
Signature at Sonning care home has begun the festive season with a bang after officially launching on Wednesday 1st December.
The local care home has embarked on a new chapter as Signature at Sonning care home after rebranding from Sunrise of Sonning. The change comes following Signature Senior Lifestyle’s takeover of a select number of Sunrise Senior Living UK care homes.
To mark the momentous occasion, the official launch was celebrated with a ribbon cutting by local dignitary, the Mayor of Wokingham, Cllr Keith Baker. Alongside the Mayor were a number of other attendees, including Signature Senior Lifestyle’s COO, Kay Cox, team members and residents at the care home.
Following the official ribbon cutting, guests enjoyed speeches and a toast to the new era for Signature at Sonning. As well as this, attendees were treated to a celebratory meal prepared by the wonderful catering team at the care home.
The team are looking to kick off their new chapter as they left the last, recognised throughout the local area for the delivery of exceptional care and support to residents. They will also be looking to building on their successes after being rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, the highest award available within the industry.
Reflecting on the launch of Signature at Sonning, General Manager of the care home, Carmela Magbitang, said:
