Scottish Care Developer Takes City by Storm

Morrison Community Care Group & Reilly Ventures Ltd is proud to announce it has exchanged on a prime 120-bed care home site in Epping, London, and represents a significant investment in the community, transforming a struggling hotel, into a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the growing demand for premium care services.

The hotel ceased operating as a traditional hospitality venue in late 2021 and has, regrettably, contributed little to the local area or community since. However, with planning permission secured in August 2024, this underutilised site is now poised for a remarkable transformation. Demolition of the existing structure will commence in the coming months, followed by the start of construction, with the grand opening anticipated in early 2027.

The project is spearheaded by a dynamic joint venture between Morrison Community Care Group, a leader in innovative care home development, and Reilly Ventures, a family investment company, with a background in construction, helmed by Leo and Antony Reilly. Together, the partnership is dedicated to reshaping care home living across the UK with a focus on innovation, design excellence, and providing 24/7 care, dementia and nursing services.  With the partnership already on site in Enfield, and Morrison Community Care out the ground on a development in Ewell, the Scottish based developer truly has taken the City by storm.
