Residents Enjoy a Bit of Sparkle from Chrystal and Friends
Residents, staff and guests at Elgar Court care home in Malvern, have been eagerly awaiting the visit from the Drag Queen Artists – Chrystal and Phill Mi Up and songstress Connie to perform at the Malvern care home to celebrate Pride and their three year anniversary of being open.
Everyone had a fantastic time with the guest drag queens Crystal and Philli Mi Up and hilarious audience participation from staff dancing and having a go at lip syncing like the drag queens!
Alice Foulkes, (the care home’s famous 106 year old resident pictured) said: “It’s been a lot of fun seeing the costumes, eating ice cream and watching all the fun!”
The charity Guide dogs for Ledbury and Malvern came along too and there was a delicious Ice cream stall courtesy of Bears Great Escapes and local craft and clothes stalls.
Naomi Steward, Home Services Advisor said: “Our residents love to watch all kinds of different shows and performances, and the diversity offered at the weekend has been perfect with something for everyone. It is so lovely to mark our three year anniversary of our care home of being open, and as always we always offer something a little bit different!”
