Residents at Shrewsbury Care Home Lend Their Ears to Live Music Performance

Residents and guests at Mount House and Severn View Care Home in Shrewsbury enjoyed an afternoon of grins with a live music performance that took place at the home. Local 1st year nursing students from the university centre Shrewsbury performed a mixture of songs for our residents.

The hospitality team at the home provided a spread of tea coffee and sweet treats for guests to enjoy during the show.

Jen O’Hare from making maestros and Beccy Hewins Lecturuer in practice learning, leader of the Shrewsbury student nurse choir said “it has been a great pleasure to meet so many people, having an opportunity to chat with the residents following our singing performance.

General Manager, Coral Edwards said, “Our residents and guests had a wonderful afternoon singing along with the fabulous performers. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Mount House and Severn View as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one was one of our favourites.”
