Residents at Local Care Home are ‘Tickled Pink’ by the Performance

Residents and guests at Waterside Court care home in Wallingford enjoyed ‘The Best of Tickled Pink’ performances as the troop tap danced through 20-years of glitzy costume changes, singing songs from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s!

Residents joined in, singing and dancing along as the group performed a snap-shot of their 35 shows with a lovely light hearted romantic comedy story linking together each scene. There was something for everyone – musical theatre and jazzy tap numbers from Singing In the Rain and Putting on The Ritz to the Westerns to We’ll Meet Again and snippets from Swell Party, The Swinging Sixties and Abbalutley Fantastic!

One resident said:
“Wow that was non stop, full of classic songs we all knew, and the constume changes were incredible.”

General Manager, Maraya Rabuka said:
“Our residents and guests had a wonderful day singing along with the wonderful performers. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Waterside Court as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites! We can’t wait for them to return with their Christmas show.”
