Redditch Care Home Welcomes MP Visit

HC-One’s Millcroft Care Home in Redditch, Worcestershire, was visited on Friday, July 25, by Member of Parliament (MP) for Redditch, Chris Bloore.

Colleagues at the HC-One owned care home enjoyed meeting their MP, Chris Bloore, and spoke to him about what life is like at Millcroft Care Home – which is an integral part of the local Redditch community.

MP Chris Bloore enjoyed a tour round the 66 bedded residential and residential dementia care home, including the spacious bedrooms with fitted furniture and ensuite facilities; plush cinema room and vintage tearoom; panoramic sky bar; and bright and airy garden room.

Chris Bloore, Member of Parliament for Redditch, said: “It was a real pleasure to visit Millcroft Care Home again and congratulate the whole team on their fantastic recent CQC inspection reports. The care, compassion and professionalism shown by staff is clear to see and the home continues to be a shining example of person-centred care in Redditch.”

“It was especially joyful to hear how resident Joan Partridge – has become a TikTok star at 103 – whose humour and spirit perfectly capture the warmth of the Millcroft community.
This is a place where residents are celebrated, supported and empowered to thrive and I’m incredibly proud to champion the work they do.”
