Over £1,000 Raised For Alzheimer’s Society By Hill Care Homes

OVER £1,000 has been raised by three homes in the Hill Care Group as part of the national Alzheimer’s Memory Walk campaign.

In Nottingham, Longmoor Lodge Care Home raised £641.25 after staff and relatives pounded the pavements for the charity.

In Chesterfield, residents, relatives and staff from Barnfield and Holmewood Care Homes took to the street after raising £220 and £271.50, respectively.

Wendy Waddicor, Managing Director of Hill Care Group, said: “We are so proud of each of our homes, the residents, relatives and staff who took part to raise such an amazing amount of money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

“Hill Care offers specialist dementia care in many of our homes so the charity is close to our hearts. The Memory Walk is a campaign we participate in every year and we hope to raise more funds for the charity in future.”
