Oh, We Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside! Care Home Residents Enjoy Trip To The Beach

Three residents at Aaron Grange care home in Huyton with Roby had a delightful trip to Southport last weekend to enjoy some early spring sunshine by the coast.

Travelling to Southport by train, the residents enjoyed taking in new sights as they glided through the stunning scenery.

Upon arrival in Southport, the group spent a few relaxing hours by the golden sands in a local café, treating themselves to delicious fish and chips.

The party had a wonderful time enjoying new experiences and rekindling fond memories of previous visits to Southport and other coastal destinations.

Alison Fisher, Activities co-ordinator at Aaron Grange Care Home, commented:

“The visit to Southport was such a fantastic experience. Many years ago, the residents would visit Southport for their summer holidays and they were delighted to have the opportunity to return once again.

“We always enjoy organising fun trips for residents at Aaron Grange and were so pleased the residents had such an enjoyable time!”
