Oaklands House Gives Back To Reydon Community
In a heartwarming collaboration to celebrate National Village Halls Week, Oaklands House (a home within the Healthcare Homes group), Reydon Village Hall, and The Pantry – a local food bank – joined forces on Friday, March 22nd, to give back to the local community in an event brimming with warmth and generosity.
As part of this initiative, Reydon Village Hall opened its doors to the community, offering a complimentary breakfast prepared with care. They provided and cooked bacon, egg, and sausage baps, while The Pantry contributed an array of delectable pastries. Oaklands House added to the feast with sumptuous sausage rolls and an assortment of tempting cakes, ensuring everyone had something delightful to enjoy and take home.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the community, with attendees relishing the opportunity to come together over a hearty breakfast and learn more about the invaluable work of the three establishments.
Reflecting on the success of the event, Laurence Vulliamy, Chairman of Reydon Village Hall, shared, “It was a pleasure to see so many people enjoying their breakfasts in the Village Hall this morning.” The event not only provided nourishment for the body but also fostered a profound sense of community spirit and camaraderie, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
