Newbury Couple Raise Funds Through A Festive Party

Newbury couple host a fundraising party over the festive season to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society

Local Newbury couple, Martin Strike and Joanne Harvey, celebrated the Christmas season in style with a festive fundraising party at their Berkshire home.

The couple invited their friends and family to enjoy homemade food and entertainment from The Gabby Young Trio (who perform live via the internet into people’s homes), asking guests to make a donation to Alzheimer’s Society in return.

Alzheimer’s Society are a charity close to the hearts of the couple as Mr Strike’s father is living with Alzheimer’s disease – the most common form of dementia.

Their party raised in excess of £600, and the couple hope this will exceed £1,000, should additional pledges of support be fulfilled.
