New Manager Takes The Helm At Brookfield Care Home
A new registered manager has been appointed at Brookfield Care Home in Nab Wood, with care sector professional Samire Pervetica joining Czajka Care Group, after spending 13 years progressing through the ranks at a Harrogate care home.
Samire has taken over leadership of the care home after joining from privately-run Larchfield Manor Care Home, part of Caring UK, where she first began working as a 16-year-old kitchen assistant.
Starting on just six hours a week whilst still at school, she later moved into care work at 18, becoming a senior carer at 19 before progressing to deputy manager and eventually registered manager.
Now, after more than a decade with the same employer, she wanted to begin a new chapter with another independent, family-run care provider.
Samire said: “Although I didn’t plan for a career in care, I started working in the kitchen part-time at 16 and I kept coming back because I loved the environment and the people.
“Once I moved into a care role at 18, I realised how passionate I was about supporting residents and making a difference to their lives. I worked my way through every role and stayed with my previous employer for 13 years.
“It was a very big decision to leave somewhere I had been for so long, but joining another family-run organisation was important to me. Czajka Care Group has a really good reputation, and I could see there was an opportunity to make a positive impact at Brookfield Care Home.”
Samire added: “One of my first priorities is to continue building on the culture in the home. The team works incredibly hard and my focus is on supporting them, building confidence and helping everybody feel valued in their roles. Good leadership is about trust, positivity and creating a stable environment for both staff and residents.”
Konrad Czajka, managing director of Czajka Care Group, welcomed the appointment. He said: “Samire’s career journey reflects our company’s own values, and her story is incredibly inspiring, because she has worked her way up through dedication, compassion and hard work. She brings extensive experience, strong leadership skills and genuine passion for care, and we are delighted to welcome her to Brookfield Care Home.”
