New Manager Brings Decades Of Experience To Stockton’s Oxbridge House

Milewood has appointed Nicola Parker as manager of Oxbridge House in Stockton. With more than 30 years of experience in the health and social care sector across a wide range of disciplines, Nicola brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.

Nicola began her career working in children’s residential services with the local authority, before broadening her expertise across multi-disciplinary areas. Her impressive career includes roles in forensic services, mental health, probation, youth offending, homelessness, tenancy eviction prevention, residential care for adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours, as well as older people and nursing care.

Speaking about her new role, Nicola said: “The best part of my job is supporting residents to achieve their ambitions and enjoy a good quality of life. I also take great satisfaction in helping staff to develop their knowledge and experience, and in seeing them progress to achieve their own personal goals.”

Nicola’s qualifications include a BSc in Forensic Psychology, an MSc in Forensic Visualisation, and a Level 7 qualification in Positive Behavioural Support. These achievements reflect her commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and support.
