New £5.7m Specialist Nursing Home Opens To Sunderland Community

Exemplar Health Care has now opened a new £5.7m care home in Sunderland. The official opening follows a formal registration visit by the Care Quality Commission, the regulator of health and care services in England.

Hylton Grange specialises in supporting younger adults living with dementia, acquired brain injuries, complex mental health conditions and physical disabilities.

Split in to three, ten-bed communities – as small group living provides a more homely, supportive, and responsive care environment – each of the 30 bedrooms has its own ensuite wet room. The home also features spacious communal and activity rooms, sensory and therapy rooms, and landscaped gardens, ensuring that residents can enjoy a full and varied lifestyle.
