National Care Association Chairman Nadra Ahmed OBE receives award for Outstanding Contribution to the Kent Business Community
National Care Association are proud to announce that their Chairman, Mrs Nadra Ahmed OBE was last night recognised for her Outstanding Contribution to the Kent Business Community at a glittering ceremony at the Kent Event Centre at the Kent Showground, Detling.
Run by Kent County Council and the KM Group, it recognises businesses leading the way in innovation, leadership and achievement in the county.
The social care champion Nadra, who lives in West Malling, graciously accepted the honour for her work with numerous organisations, mostly voluntary. Among her roles she is Chairman of the National Care Association a board member of Parkinson’s UK and a trustee of the Royal British Legion, learning disability charity MCCH and Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services in Gravesend.
Her staff at National Care Association said ‘Nadra is a worthy winner of this award for all the hard work she does in Kent and Nationally’.
