My Choice Healthcare Acquires Porthcawl Care Home In 7-Figure Deal

My Choice Healthcare has announced its acquisition of Danygraig House (Care Home), a renowned 48-bed residential Care Home in Porthcawl, for a 7-figure undisclosed sum.

The strategic purchase is an exciting new chapter for both My Choice Healthcare and the dedicated team at Danygraig House, as the current owners transition into retirement. It marks My Choice Healthcare’s tenth home and its eighth in South Wales, furthering its mission to ’put people at its heart’.

Danygraig House specialises in providing 24-hour care and support for individuals living with dementia, ensuring that residents receive the compassionate and needs-led care they deserve. In addition to its residential services, the Home is also a base from which the Company provides domiciliary care for older people, those with physical and/or mental health issues, those with sensory impairment and individuals living with dementia; thus enabling individuals to receive support in the comfort of their own homes.

A Grade II listed building set within landscaped grounds, just a few minutes’ drive from the Porthcawl seafront, Danygraig House provides a serene and welcoming environment for residents and their families/friends who visit. The care home is committed to maintaining a high standard of care and enhancing the quality of life for all its residents.

Bethan Evans, CEO of My Choice Healthcare, said: “We are thrilled to be acquiring Danygraig House from its current owners and are committed to maintaining the excellent care standards and reputation that they have established over many years.

“Our focus will be on continuing the good work that’s already in place while maintaining the supportive environment for the dedicated staff team. We understand the vital role that our staff play in delivering high-quality care for those we are privileged to support, and we are eager to invest in their ongoing development and well-being.”
