Residents took part in a ‘Wear It White for Wimbledon’, where residents played a game of chair tennis, and MP Julie Marson even got involved in the fun.
During the visit, Julie showed great interest in getting to know the residents, team members and relatives. She expressed her gratitude and support to the social care sector, and thanked the team for their hard work during the recent pandemic.
Lisa Meeks, Home Manager at Ashwood, said:
“It was great to welcome Julie Marson to the home, and it was fantastic to see her get involved with the residents. We look forward to welcoming her to the home again.”
