Milford Care Up For Five Gongs At National Care Finals
Following an extremely successful awards year for the Milford Care Group, the team is heading to Birmingham to compete for five National Care Awards.
In November, the Milford Care Group picked up five trophies at the Great East Midlands Care Awards, including the Care Employer Award, Outstanding Contribution to Social Care, Frontline Leader, Dignity in Care and the prize for Nutrition & Hydration. The family run business will now compete nationally on May 20 at the ICC in Birmingham in the national stages of the Great British Care Awards.
Pierre Falleth, Director at Milford Care said: “We are absolutely delighted to be attending the Great British Care Awards again and to have so many finalists is a huge achievement. We are so proud of all of our staff who work extremely hard to provide excellent care to our residents. Their dedication and commitment is admirable and these awards are a fantastic way to recognise and reward our carers for all of their efforts. Fingers crossed that we can come back from Birmingham with some more winners.”
The purpose of the awards is to promote best practice within the care sector, and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated excellence within their field of work. At the Regional Stage in November, the judges said: “The Milford Care Group really stood out because of their commitment to staff and the individuals they support. Both are empowered to develop their skills and talents and to take an active role in the company.”
Since 2010 the Group have had 52 finalists at the Regional Awards, 15 finalists at the National Awards, two winners at the National Care Awards and have also been short listed at the Health Investor and Pinder Design Award ceremonies.
