Macc Care Expands Midlands Portfolio with Opening of New 72-bed Shirley Care Home

A Midlands-based care provider has continued its expansion with the opening of a new 72-bed care home in Shirley, strengthening its presence across the region and adding much-needed capacity for specialist elderly care.

Heathview Rose, part of the Macc Care Group, will provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a purpose-built, state-of-the-art environment. The opening marks Macc Care’s 18th home, with a further site in Codsall set to launch later this year as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

The new service has been designed to meet increasing demand for high-quality, person-centred care in the West Midlands, offering en-suite accommodation alongside a range of communal and therapeutic spaces to support residents with varying and complex needs.

The launch forms part of a sustained period of growth for Macc Care, which has expanded its portfolio significantly in recent years while continuing to invest in workforce development, clinical outcomes and operational infrastructure.

Bhav Amlani, Director at Macc Care, said: “Heathview Rose represents another important milestone in our growth as a provider. As demand for high-quality care continues to rise, it is vital that we continue to invest in new services that not only increase capacity, but also deliver the standards of care that individuals and families expect. Our focus remains on sustainable growth – ensuring that each new home reflects our commitment to person-centred care, strong clinical governance and a supported workforce.”

To mark the opening, the group will host an open day on Friday 15th May, providing local stakeholders and community members with the opportunity to tour the home and meet the team.
