Long Service Awards Aplenty at London Care Home
More than ten members of staff at a London care home have been recognised for their efforts and dedication with a long service award.
All the staff members have been working at the 60-place MHA Willesden Court care home in North West London for a minimum of 10 years.
The members who received their awards were Victoria Francis, Shasta Ali, Maria Moura, Lincoln Edwards, Faith Chung, Lukasz Cichonski, Tsion Andemeskel, Pamela Atube, Sadia Yusuf, Moreen Terrelonge, Khadija Omer,Jacqueline Stephenson and Catherine Joyce
One of the recipients, nurse Victoria Francis said: “I have been working here for more than ten years and it’s a great place to work.
“I feel like I will retire from here but for now I am just going to continue doing my job and caring for the residents as much as I can.”
Another staff member, activity coordinator Shasta Ali, said: “I love working with the residents here and like my role as it allows me to organise plenty of activities at the home.
“I have to plan all sorts of activities from birthday parties to trips and I absolutely love my job.
“I have been here for 18 years and can’t even think about going anywhere else.”

“I am so proud of each and every one of them and for all the care they provide for our residents in helping them live later life well.”
