Local Care Home Celebrates Dignity Action Day
Reigate Beaumont Care Home in Reigate, celebrated the importance of Dignity Action Day with residents and staff.
The home raised awareness of the importance of delivering dignified care by having their Dignity Champion Mariola deliver sessions to residents and staff on this very important topic.
The theme is so important to the team that the whole of February has been dedicated to Dignity. Throughout the whole month, Mariola will be delivering sessions to staff and relatives. Mariola – the Dignity Champion, said: “The more people that get involved in discussing dignity, the better everyone understands that dignity should be at the heart of everything we do. No matter what our role is in the home or in society.”
General Manager, Pramojil Kurian said: “Bringing staff and residents together to spend time discussing the meaning of Dignity Action Day is a fabulous way to raise awareness.”
