The team at Liberty House, of the Runwood Homes Group, are excited to host their Fun in the Sun club, which will run on the first and last Friday of the month throughout the summer period.
The club reflects the team’s efforts to further involve themselves, and the home, in the community. The club, which started on the 29th of April from 2pm – 3pm, warmly welcomes those in the community to come to the luxury home and take part in a variety of outside games in the courtyard and garden areas. Quoites, skittles, board games, French bowls and croquet will be just some of the games for guests of the club to participate in and tea, coffee and other refreshments will be provided for all guests.
Liberty House has expansive outdoor areas, including beautiful courtyard and garden spaces and the summer club will enable not only residents, but also the wider community to reap the benefits of such lovely outdoor spaces. In addition to this, the club will provide a great opportunity for residents to meet and connect with people outside of the home, building relationships with other members of their community, which will boost feelings of purpose and belonging.
The Fun in the sun group is already seeing great excitement and anticipation and as we move closer to summer, the club will encourage the homes’ residents to make the most of long, warm afternoons in the sun, meeting new people and playing some entertaining games. The initiative is a great example of outdoor living, where residents can enjoy the advantages of nature and fresh air, which, in turn, positively impact wellbeing.
Claire Hoyles, Customer Relations Manager, played an important part in setting up the club, and is excited to see how it evolves. Claire commented:
“We have been looking forward to launching our summer club which is set to start on the 29th of April. Everyone is very excited, and we warmly welcome our lovely community to pop along for an afternoon of fun and games.”
